Our primary goal is to help our community. We solve problems by helping families deal with estate issues, business liquidations, and our local government partners sell excess equipment. By choosing a local New Mexico company, the money stays right here in the community.

• In 2017, our sister company, One Community Auto, was chosen as Grand Champion in the American Small Business Championship competition from the Small Business Administration’s SCORE Mentors program. We were incredibly honored to win this award and bring it home to New Mexico.
   

• In 2018, Gary was also awarded the New Mexico Veteran Business of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
   

• In 2022, we were named Minority Small Business of the Year by the New Mexico Small Business Administration.

​Gary Peterson is a native New Mexican and a proud military veteran. He founded Rt 66 Auctions after spending 22 years in the United States Air Force working in logistics and transportation. He’s been helping his community ever since.
